Applications for I/DD Pilot Being Accepted

Applications will be accepted from the Western Kansas Region for Friends and Family members as well as self advocate applications across the state, but only for a limited time.  Application deadline is Aug 7th for all applications so you must hurry.  If you, or someone you love, is covered or will be covered by KanCare  your voice is needed in Topeka.  Self advocates are encouraged to apply.    

Please share this information with anyone that may be interested.  Now is the time to step up and act.  If you want to help guide the transition into KanCare, you must apply now.  Your life experience is very important, your voice is unique and needs to be heard.  Please take the time to fill out and fax or e-mail your application today!  If you are not able to apply, please help share with others.  If we work together our voice will be heard.

1.    KDADS will be accepting applications from CONSUMERS of the I/DD Waiver from all over the state of Kansas until August 7, 2013 to ensure adequate representation of consumers on the Steering Committee for the KanCare DD Implementation.  Consumers will have the opportunity to participate in the transition of the I/DD Waiver into KanCare.
 
2.      KDADS will be accepting applications from FRIENDS and FAMILY MEMBERS in Western Kansas until August 7, 2013 to ensure adequate representation of friends and family of individuals on the I/DD Waiver.
