Special Pops Open Gym

Adapted Aquatics

Prerequisite: Water adjustment and social skill readiness. Participants are introduced to a variety of aquatic activities and exercises. Weekly classes include warm-ups, stretches, aerobic moves, stroke work and therapeutic games.

Adapted Aquatics Open Swim

A special time reserved for fun in the pool. Play basketball, swim laps, walk and talk in the lazy river channel or just hang out. Certified lifeguards supervise.

Bowling

SPECIAL OLYMPICS

The Blue Valley Blue Streaks, our local Special Olympics team, participate in local, regional and state events throughout the year. Programs are offered for athletes eight years old and up. Each athlete must have an updated physical form on file in order to participate. Scholarships are available for all Special Olympics Programs. Call Nan Kanter at 685.6015 for more information. 

Special Olympics Basketball

Have fun working on skills as you learn the game of basketball. No experience necessary.

Special Olympics Cheerleading

Root, root, root for the home team! Learn basic skills to cheer at league games. Cheerleaders can enroll in both cheerleading and basketball. No experience necessary.

Special Olympics Banquet

Fun for the entire family! Our 25th annual banquet brings great friends together to enjoy a delicious dinner. Then it’s time for awards, recognitions, and reminiscing about the past year’s activities. Enroll by May 3 to reserve your seats. Fee is per person (including athletes), and payment is due when registering.
