A FUN-FILLED SUMMER DAY CAMP FOR CHAMPIONS AGES 6 TO 28 WITH COGNITIVE, INTELLECTUAL, OR PHYSICAL DISABILITIES!

I hope this finds you doing well and ready to start thinking about Summer!
Last year I communicated with you regarding our Champions Day Camps here in the Kansas City area. Thank you for passing the information on to your families and individuals with Special Needs. I am happy to say that Champions is offering
TWO Day Camps in the Metro area again this summer!!
July 13-17 we will be holding a 5 day Day Camp in Lenexa, KS

I would like to ask each of you, if possible, to pass this information on to the families that you are connected with that would benefit from our amazing Day Camps. As you well know our typical kids have many opportunities for a “Camp” experience but those with Special Needs do not have as many chances to attend “Camp!” We would love to fill our 75 spots for Day Camp at each of our two camps, so thank you for passing the word! Please let me know if you have any questions. Following is an email you can forward on and attached are flyers for the Lenexa and Liberty camp. Thank you!!
Champions Special Ministries, a nonprofit organization located in Overland Park, Kansas, is holding TWO 5 day Day Camps in the Kansas City metro area this Summer for children and young adults with Special Needs, ages 6-28.
July 13-17 at Lenexa Christian Center

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m, Monday–Thursday and 12:30-8:00 p.m. Friday.
July 20-24 at Liberty United Methodist Church

9:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 12:30-8:00 p.m. Friday.
Champions Day Camps are for children and young adults, ages 6-28 with an intellectual, cognitive, or physical disability. We will have a 2-1 or 1-1 ratio, camper to volunteer during our week of camp. We will have 5 days of high energy fun, games, activities, sports, dance, music, and arts and crafts. We will end our week with the families’ of campers invited to a cook-out, closing program, and square dance!
