I am pleased to announce the Special Day at the K! Sponsored by the Royals and Rex and Jennifer Hudler’s Team Up for Down Syndrome honoring Doc Hunsley and SOAR Special Needs Program on Sunday, September 6, 2015 against the Chicago White Sox at 110pm. Following the game the kids can run the bases! Doc and his family will be seating in the Buck O’Neil seats! This game will probably sell out!

Rex and Jennifer Hudler’s Team Up for Down Syndrome raises the public’s awareness both locally and nationally, of the positive contributions that individuals with Down Syndrome make in our society. They are dedicated to strengthening and empowering those with special needs to help them and their families reach their full potential.

$5 of each ticket purchased through this link will go to Rex and Jennifer Hudler’s Team Up for Down Syndrome benefiting the SOAR programand the Kansas City area special needs community.

SOAR FAMILIES PLEASE READ: The Royals have blessed SOAR by donating 250 FREE tickets on the lower level for me to GIVE AWAY to our families with special needs! These are very limited and will go quickly. Each ticket will guarantee you a shirt and also give you admittance to our SOAR Tail-Gate party. (Only these ticket holders can attend the Tail-Gate party.) A Salty Iguana Food Truck donated by Rex and Jennifer Hudler will feed these 250 along with a special visit and photo op with Sluggerrr and Rex Hudler, plus other surprises. These tickets are first come first served and also will have preference given to those who have participated in our SOAR events. To RSVP for your tickets, please email [email protected] and tell us how many tickets and who they are for. These tickets can only be for your immediate family.

There are tickets and pricing on both the lower and upper levels! Additionally, the first 750 fans to stop by the table inside of Gate D with their ticket purchased through this link will receive a t-shirt compliments of Team Up For Down Syndrome and Fox Sports. Shirts can be picked up just inside of Gate D on the day of the game only and are limited to the first 750 fans, so please stop by early to get a shirt!
