Autism Society of the Heartland –

Join us on January 23rd for a FUNdraiser with the Missouri Mavericks!!! Deadline to order tickets is TUESDAY JAN 19TH AT 3PM
Rinkside seats are $28 each and Terrace seats are $21 each.  Free AutismSociety – the Heartland tee shirt with each ticket purchase.  We have purchased 50 tickets in each of the two designated areas, so you will be able to pick your seats when you pick up your tickets at the AutismSociety the Heartland office. We will post designated office hours for you to pick up your tickets. You can also pick up day of the event, but we can not guarantee if you have a large group that you will be sitting together if you wait to pick up your tickets. This is aFUNdraiser event along with spreading some autism awareness as well!! This event will sell out- so get your friends together and come out and have some fun!
UPCOMING SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS AND EVENTS

Friends and Members- Our Support Groups and events are FOR YOU- our volunteers are working hard to present valuable and informative information for you and your families- We are contacted everyday about how people are looking for support groups to attend, we have them for you and they are free. Our Wyandotte and East Central KS groups have childcare. I encourage you to take the time to attend, meet others walking your walk, engage in learning more and also how you can contribute to the group and our organization.

Jan 15th- TWEEN NIGHT- Friday from 6:30pm to 8pm- come on out to our office and have some fun with board games and mingle- this is a GREAT social activity for your tween- ages 5th through 8th grade ages 9/10 to 14/15 for an evening of games and socializing. There will be light snacks and a good time for parents to mingle as well.

Jan 21st- Wyandotte Co/KCK Support Group 6pm to 7:30pm- Kansas City Kansas Early Childhood Center, 1708 N. 55th Street (just south of 55th & Parallel) Childcare is provided

Jan 21st Eastern Jackson County Support Group- 6:30pm to 8pm  Wood Chapel Church 4725 NE Lakewood Way Lee’s Summit, MO 64064

Jan 23rd Wonderscope Sensory Friendly Night 5:30pm to 7:30pm- CLICK HERE to register and get your tickets- This event is a FUN and safe event for our families to attend and be able to participate on their child’s level.

Jan 25th- East Central Kansas Support Group- 6:30pm to 8pm at Trojan Elementary1901 Parker, Osawatomie, KS, Serving the communities of: Paola, Osawatomie, Louisburg, Central Heights, LaCygne, Garnett, Jayhawk Lynn, Pleasanton and Spring Hill.  CHLIDCARE IS PROVIDE- You must register your child by 2pm on Thursday before the meeting.

Jan 28th- Johnson County Support Group- 6:30pm to 8pm- North Star Academy-

Feb 13th- Valentine Dance for young adults and adults- 6:00pm to 7:30pm- North Star Academy 7725 W. 87th Street, OP, KS 66212- a FUN NIGHT to get out and have a great time, dance, meet new friends or bring a friend! More info to come

Currently we are looking for friends to assist in our 2016 Just Be You Walk for Autism, Walk date is April 24th, we are looking for folks to help with our recruitment of teams, planning activities and refreshments.
