SOAR Families

Our SOAR Special Needs Ministry has a SOAR Summer Internship that is now taking applications. If you know anyone who would love to learn more about special needs and work in an amazing and growing special needs ministry, please share this with them. They can get more information by clicking HERE!

SOAR Weekends at Grace: Buddies available: Saturday’s 4, 530pm; Sunday 8, 930, & 11am – Buddies offered to individuals with special needs who require assistance. Interested in visiting? Let us know! [email protected].
SOAR Adult Class – Sunday’s 11am – For individuals 6th grade and older – receive the same message as our main worship service, just at a level that these individuals can handle. Interested in visiting? Let us know! [email protected].
SOAR Grace Students (6th-12th grade) – every Sunday, 5-715pm – We meet for group worship and then we offer a SOAR Small Group for our students where we meet every week and have a lesson at a level they can understand. Interested in visiting? Let us know! [email protected].
SOAR Moms Bunco Night – Fri, Mar 25, 630-9pm – At Grace Church in room 30. Bring your favorite snack and $5 and have a night of laughter, talking with other moms and just time to relax! No childcare available. Please RSVP with Pam Westbrook at [email protected].
SOARly Needed R&R – Friday May 6, 6-9pm – Star Wars Theme – Online registration start March 1, questions – email [email protected].
SOAR Family Support Group – Sat Apr 16, 530-630pm – We will have an discussion on financial planning with Kacy Seitz, SOAR Mom, and Northwestern Mutual Representative. Registration coming soon.
SOAR SBO Jr – (Vacation Bible School) – June 6-8, 9-11:30am; 4 y/o-going into 1st grade. Sign up online coming soon – limited spots for SOAR.
SOAR SBO – (Vacation Bible School) – June 13-17, 9-Noon; Kids going into 2nd grade – going into 6th grade. Sign up online coming soon – limited spots for SOAR.
SOAR Special Needs Day Camp, sponsored by Variety KC, July 18-22. Online registration coming soon. The cost is $100 for the entire week which also includes lunch and shirts. Save the date now, it WILL sell out quick!
Blue Valley Special Needs Resource Fair – April 5 – Save the date! SOAR will have a table and this year, SOAR will be providing buddies/childcare so that the families can enjoy the fair without interruptions. We will be onsite! Mark your calendar now, this is open to everyone and has great resources to families in both Kansas AND Missouri!
