The YMCA Challenger program does much more than give kids of all abilities the opportunity to play sports, learn to swim and try something new. It’s about being active, being part of a team, learning new skills, and perhaps most of all, making friends.

This year, we are proud to celebrate a decade of teamwork, friendship and memories. We hope you will join us for flag football, basketball and our inclusive events this fall!

Join your Challenger friends for football fun this fall! League begins the week of August 29 in Lee’s Summit, Kansas City North, Overland Park and Excelsior Springs.

Spend the evening with us and make a difference in the lives of kids and young adults of all abilities! Enjoy fine food and beverages, live music, and a silent and live auction benefiting YMCA Challenger programs for young people with special needs and the Fred and Shirley Pryor YMCA Challenger Sports Complex.

Show your spirit! Learn encouraging cheers, dance moves and stunts from the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders. This activity is open to ages 4-30+.
