Revised Invitation from KDADS, CSPC and BHS Services Meetings!
Greetings,
This is revised invitation. Some regional meeting locations have changed from yesterday. If you forwarded the invitation that you received yesterday to anyone, please resend this one to them today.
May 2013 has been declared National Mental Health Awareness Month. With this in mind, the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) Community Services and Programs Commission (CSPC) Behavioral Health Services (BHS) is holding a series of regional meetings to hear from stakeholders as the agency moves forward with the Governor’s Mental Health Initiative. We would like to create opportunities for Community Mental Health Centers to serve a wider variety of challenges through collaboration, capacity building, resource sharing and a strengths-based approach.
We want to meet with stakeholders who are interested in behavioral health to provide some basic information about the Governor’s Initiative, begin gathering initial information for regional needs assessments, and identify potential community partnerships.
